Medicaid Application Specialist

Trillium Staffing is hiring Medicaid Application Specialists. Application Specialists are responsible for the oversight and successful completion of the pending Medicaid application process. 

As a Medicaid Application Specialist your primary duties will include:
•Evaluation of income and asset levels for potential admissions and residents already admitted.
•Providing guidance in determining appropriate actions needed to resolve applicant status if ineligible. 
•Ensuring effective processes are in place for processing pending Medicaid applications, annual redetermination documentation, and tracking the status of open pending Medicaid applications. 
•Working closely with facility staff, residents, and/or families to obtain necessary documentation in order to assess eligibilities.
•Working with state eligibility workers to make sure application are processed in a timely manner. 

Positions are available on first shift, 8am-4:30pm, Monday - Friday. Pay ranges from $17-$21/hour, based on experience. Positions are full time and temp-to-hire with opportunities for career advancement! Qualifications
•High School diploma or GED required
•Associate degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or Social Work preferred or 2-5 years’ experience of Medicaid eligibility processing required
•Skilled Nursing Medicaid eligibility processing experience preferred
•Strong subject matter expertise and knowledge of all relevant Medicaid regulations, industry standards, and best practices
•Experience with Microsoft Office programs with emphasis on Excel
•Strong customer service skills with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment
•Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
